About J.K Rowling.
J.K Rowling was born in Chipping Sodbury, July the 31st 1965. Her childhood was very happy, although she still has the memory of her being teased by having the name Rowling. She still often gets called “Rowling pin” by her school friends. ______________________________________________________________________
About the main characters.
The best student of Hogwarts is not surprisingly, Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe had a terrific time as the actor of Harry Potter, but sadly he admits that he didn’t think he was as cool as his fans did at the time. He’s been in many hilarious photo shoots during his lifetime as an actor and yet he doesn’t stop doing the thing he loves – “acting.”
Hermione Granger is the bravest and smartest girl wizard in the amazing school of Hogwarts. She has been successful at all the classes and knows such good spells and fun tricks. The actress who plays Hermione Granger is Emma Watson, one of Harry Potter’s best well known friends. She is a very good actor and loves painting, singing, dancing, cooking, playing sports such as tennis, netball and field hockey.
Harry Potter’s best forever friend is no more than Ron Weasley. He is in the house called Gryffindor along with Harry and Hermione. Presenting Rupert Grint, who is a fantastic actor. He suited his part and had a very important part in the movie. He’s a bit jumpy and that’s what he is good at. He was meant for his character.
Why Harry Potter was made.
J.K. Rowling first had the idea for doing a series for Harry Potter while delayed on a train travelling from Manchester to London King’s Cross in 1990. Over five years, she began to plan out the seven books of the Harry Potter series. She wrote mostly in her unique handwriting and had a big mountain of notes, many of which were on scraps of paper.
Harry Potter is a great series and I would absolutely recommend it for ages 8 and up. With all of the magistic people and mammals it could be a bit too scary for young ones and could give them nightmares but over all my thoughts about it is that it was such a fantastic series and in the movies, all the actors were meant for their parts.
Have you seen or read any of the Harry Potter series? What did you think? Do you have a favourite Harry Potter book or movie? I would love it if you could make a response to let me know answers to any of these questions.
