The stone seahorses stood outside the aquarium, providing shade, whilst we waited for the safari shuttle to arrive. The dust rolled out from underneath the shuttle pulling up beside us, and the truck in purple lettering said –
We scrambled into the old truck, driving off towards the plains. On the way there we saw a massive rock, the tour guide explaining it was called Avocado Rock named after its peculiar shape and rough edges. We pulled up to an area with trees that looked like crooked bones.
Faintly in the background an elephant stepped out of the bushline.
