Everything stopped, people were stood like statues all around me, people in cars, men on bicycles, babies in prams all lifeless, frozen in time.

The day had come… they had been warned… they hadn’t listened and now it was happening.

I nervously walk down the frozen street, the cold wind piercing my face. I spotted two men exchanging a piece of cloth, my arm stretches out to touch them. I drag my frail fingers across the one man’s face, my eyes widen, “stone” I mutter, I gaze in shock.

My feet along the pavement in silence. Nothing can fix this.
