As I kicked a pebble along the cold and murky alleyway, strange things were going on.

At the end of the street a red balloon ascended out of the darkness, followed by a gruesome laugh. Then a tornado of dust flew into the air. When all of the dust had settled to the ground, a clown took the balloon’s place.

I could tell this wasn’t a clown you would see at a birthday party – he had red blood dripping from his mouth. Before I could blink the clown grabbed me, dragging me into the darkness where I would stay forever.

Very spooky and exciting, I couldn’t imagine what it would feel like to be in that situation.
I love your descriptive way of writing and your use of interesting words, this story is really effective and shows how good you are at writing.

Can’t wait to read your next one,
