WHAT WAS IN THE BASEMENT ZAK?
As I tiptoed through the basement, I saw the most amazing stuff. Everything was dusty but I could just see what everything was.
There were pink teddy bears, wooden giraffes, old chairs, stools, guitars and other instruments. but as I waddled to the back of the basement I saw a jack in the box. Curiously I surveyed it’s features. I turned it’s handle and suddenly, it sang the most painful tune.
I ran, past the instruments, over the stools and chairs, past the giraffes, past the teddy bears and up the stairs and never thought of going back ever again.
ZAK – YEAR 7
Great 100WC Zak.
I like how you said”Curiously I surveyed its features” and you used lots more descriptive words.
Hi Zak
I loved the different way you used the prompt words in your 100WC. You have used some really interesting words too, which help paint the picture for you. Well done.

Your story is full of interest and you uses some excellent descriptive words, Zak. The idea of a jack in the box singing a painful tune is excellent, and sad, of course. The collection of toys, and the other objects, are really well described too. Well done.
