100WC FROM CIARA
I wander through the woods trying not to trip over. My frail fingers brush across the jagged trees.
“Crack!” A faint noise comes from a couple of trees over, I start walking faster dragging my limp leg behind me.
“Crack!” There it was again.
Finally I approach a house, I’m weak and out of breath but still manage to ring the doorbell. The wood surrounding it has started to waste away and is faded.
“Dinggg!” I ring the doorbell, no answer.
Suddenly out from behind the tree a figure appears, it viciously launches itself at me! Then I wake up.
CIARA – YEAR 8
Dear Ciara,
You have weaved a beautiful picture in the story. Selection of words and their usage is commendable.
Except for a couple of grammar correction, overall a great read.
Keep up the good work, Ciara.
