Prompt : We took no notice of the sign
It was a late Friday night, my best friend Sophia and I were at the bus stop because we 
needed to catch the bus home from our shopping trip in Christchurch.
Unfortunately we live in Rangiora. We had been waiting at the bus stop for a while and I was starting to get worried that the bus was not going to come. But fortunately as the very last cars were driving past, their head lights shone on the corner of a sign saying ¨Shelter closed due to bus damage¨.
Disastrously we took no notice of the sign before then.

Hi Emily, don’t you just hate it when you do something like that, waiting by a sign telling you there will not be any buses! This is a clever little creative piece with a good message, always read the signs. I like your story for its simplicity, its good use of punctuation and its flow. Well done.
