EMMA SEES THE RAINBOW.
Walking down the cold street with my heavy black jacket on, eating a banana, I jumped over a piece of wood that looked as if it had been damaged on purpose.
As I continue walking down the street there seems to be more of these damaged pieces of wood, but they are all in the order of the rainbow. I wonder why are these all here? Where did they come from?
I keep on wandering down the street but I just want to know why they are there, but then I remember they’re from the market that had just finished.
EMMA – YEAR 7
Hi Emma,
I love the concept of the rainbow painted wood from the market. I would have liked to know what you think they could have been used for at the market? (I know it is just a story, but it would have been fun to make something up… something creative?….something funny?)
Just watch your tenses, as the prompt has forced you to use past tense in the first section, but then you have shifted to present tense.
Thank you for sharing your story though. I really enjoyed it.
