A MYSTERY 100WC FROM CIARA.
The thick fog limits my view as I try to get my bearings on the isolated coastline, my boat has been washed away during a violent storm. I stand up and gaze at the beautiful purple sky.
As I walk along the sandy rocks I come across an old rotten tree, its branches sticking out like fingers. As I get closer I notice a small bottle containing a note.
I reach for it and clench my hand tightly and undo the lid. The small piece of paper slides out, I curiously start to read and my mouth drops in shock.

Hi Ciara,
Thank you for sharing your wonderful writing this week. This was a cracking read! I loved the way you used descriptive language to create an atmosphere and you left me wanting to know more; this is something talented writers do.
Keep up the great writing.

Hey Ciara, my name is Leila and I’m in the 8th grade like you. Are you going to the 8th grade or are you going to high school (like me) in the summer? I really liked your story because it had many descriptive words to make out the setting. You should come check out my story: https://kidblog.org/class/mrs-harts-8th-grade-class1920/posts/1vnak3e8ute1uu5mfo51ayyoe
Keep writing Ciara!
