A DESCRIPTION OF THE ASHLEY SCHOOL GROUNDS.
Subject: Describe School Grounds
Ashley School has a full-sized rugby field where we play games like rugby, soccer, cricket and many other games. Around the field, we have a hedge where we are allowed to climb the trees and play games like manhunt or hide n go seek. In the trees, we also have an awesome treehouse, which the younger kids like to play in.
Over in the far side of the field, we have a tennis court and behind one of the classrooms is our playground. On the playground, we have a slide, two climbing walls, a sandpit, swings, two monkey bars, two big platforms with different things to climb on.
Some of the games we play are ball tag and ‘Busted’ Next to the playground, we have five poles shaped into pencils and they are all different colours. On the pencils, there are words that are the school’s values and care code.
We have plenty of murals around the school and because we are a country school, we have mountains and outdoor things on the murals.

Lachlan,
Hello. I am Marcy – one of the commenters for this year’s blogging challenge.
Wow! Your school sounds like so much fun. Usually school playgrounds might have a few slides or swings, but not all of that fun stuff. I was really impressed with the treehouse. I bet lots of the kids enjoy playing in there. I would love to make a treehouse at our place, but we really don’t have any trees that could support one.
I have not heard of some of the games you mentioned, like Busted or Manhunt. Those sound like games that my sons would like. How do you play them?
