HERE IS CIARA’S 100 WORD CHALLENGE.
I near the clearing, I freeze in astonishment, the view is unbelievable. My eyes light up as I notice the icy water gushing through the small river.
I wander over to a tree, the autumn leaves scattered all over the ground. The bare tree stands tall, its branches stick out like fingers on an old piano player. I carefully sit down and rest my legs.
I gasp, “the mountains are amazing!” The snow scattered mountains loom in the distance.
I place my head back softly, kick my feet up and doze off while listening to the chatter of the birds.
CIARA – YEAR 8
Hi Ciara,
I enjoyed reading your story. Well done.
You have described an amazing, peaceful location. It’s a place I want to visit!
In Ireland, at the moment we have been locked down for the past two months. It has been a time where I have noticed and appreciated my locality, the scenery around where I live and nature.
Your story is reminding me of this.
Great work this week.
Keep writing.

Ciara…you have transported me to somewhere quite beautiful. I love the simile that you have used to convey a picture in my mind. Keep up the great work.
