DAVE’S STORY OF SINBAD THE SAILOR.
Prompt: Gold, viola, searched, lost, ancient
The sails are filled with air and the boat is soaring across the uncharted waters. Sinbad and his crew take in the salty breeze and dream about the LOST ANCIENT treasure.
Sinbad had a different treasure in mind. Out of all the the valuable items that awaited them, he wanted to get his hands on the GOLD VIOLA. The rumours say that it is fully made of gold and is priceless.
What are the odds of that? People have SEARCHED for it and have found nothing. Serendipity seems to be his best friend as he now awaits his dreadful challenges.
DAVE – YEAR 8
Hi Dave,
The moment I read your first sentence I was hooked in, I really wanted to read more about this. You have used great descriptive words throughout which makes it so interesting. I don’t think I would want to change anything about it. I do look forward to your next 100 WC well done.

Dear Dave,
Your descriptive language was great. I was really hooked from the start. It was cool how you left it on a cliff hanger. I loved how you said, “The sails are filled with air and the boat is soaring across the uncharted waters.” Good job.
Kind regards Greta
Hi Dave,
I really like how you paragraphed your work, and I also like how you hooked your reader in at the start. Your story was super interesting, and I wish it was longer so that I could keep reading it! I like how you added a photo, it made me visualise your story in my head.
Kind regards,
Masha
Hi Dave I really like your story, it hooked me in from the first moment. I love how you have awesome adjectives, and I would love to see another one. I really love your story and to think it came from a yr 8 is pretty amazing!
Good job,
Mollie
