They bound across the snow, their big furry paws making snow fly in the air. They heard a loud ‘BANG!’ 

Another shot rings out. The tiny polar bear looks around – her mother’s been hit. 

She has no choice but to venture on her own.

Hours pass. As the shots fade into the distance the poor little polar bear is parched. She needs water and leaps onto the ice to get a drink, when suddenly “crack!” the ice starts to break. She tries to get back to the snow, but she is already floating.

All she can do now is wait.
