The one word prompt this week is the word TERRIFYING.
“Smash!”
There it went again the ongoing hail that shattered windows like a shotgun blast, wind that made houses topple over, and floods that just kept rising and rising, it was a TERRIFYING sight.
I just imagined at that moment that I would disappear out of my house somewhere safe. But the screams of people around me were nothing in my imagination. This was real.
I was too anxious to move. But step by step I slowly approached my door, grasped the handle and gulped nervously, swung it open with all my might, and was petrified with what I saw…
