BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING, SAYS EMMA.
Rushing through the prickly bushes I hear my friend yelling and screaming for help.
‘I’m trying to hold on!’ he shouted.
I ran faster than ever before, feeling the wind blowing past my face, thinking about what is going to happen. I suddenly stopped at a cliff edge wondering where he was.
I looked down, finding him holding onto his life with one tiny little branch.
Luckily we were prepared and had packed a safety bag with a big rope. I quickly got the rope out and threw it down so that he could hold onto it and climb up.

Dear Emma,
Your story was very creative and interesting. You imported the prompt well. Great work.
Sincerely Julia
Hi, Emma!
I was worried for your friend when he was hanging off a cliff, and I love how suspenseful your story was. I wonder what the story might have looked from your friend’s perspective? That would have been big-time scary.
Keep up the great work!

Dear Emma,
I loved your story. I like how you used the prompt dangerously. If I was the one hanging on to the tiny branch, I would be scared to death because I’m afraid of heights.
Sincerely,
Rahaf
Hello!!! This is Amelia-co! Great story this week! It was so exciting, I would be terrified if I was your friend holding on for dear life on the tiny branch!!! Your story was very detailed and I loved reading it and it was frightening! But Emma saved the day!!! Great job this week.
